Rocking Chair Ranch Cattle

Rocking Chair Ranch Cattle is in Forsyth, Georgia just north of Macon.  We are a small cattle operation that started ten years ago with the idea of serving a local burger in downtown Macon. Our goal was to process about 12 head of cattle a year. Then we realized that people wanted more than just ground beef. We now process about 110 head a year. We are a regular vendor at several local farmers markets, and we now supply many local restaurants and retail grocers.

Our grass-fed, grass finished cattle are free of growth hormones, steroids and antibiotics providing you with a healthier alternative to conventionally raised commercial beef.    It is our goal to provide you with consistent quality and flavor and as an Animal Welfare Approved farm, we are committed to the welfare and health of our animals.

Being a cattle rancher is not a job; it is a lifestyle. There is a growing need and desire to eat flavorful, local, beef. It is healthier for us and better for the environment. People want to know where their beef comes from, and we are proud of the product that Rocking Chair Ranch Cattle puts on the table.
